If you are a musician, then you will probably need to find a shop or instrument distributor that has all of the instruments and accessories that you need. There are many stores that have the equipment that professionals and students need. In fact, there are so many stores on the Internet and listed in the directory, that some people have a hard time deciding which dealers to use. By knowing what questions to ask, though, you should be able to choose a music dealer that can give you the instruments and accessories that you need. First, you should find out how long the store has been open. Those with more experience usually have access to distributors that can give them more products at better prices. Ask them if they have a web site that shows all of the stands, bass drums, pick sets, headphones, tuners, microphones, wind instruments, string instruments, composition paper for writing down a songs harmony and melody, and any other instruments that you might need. Some shops specialize in certain types of instruments. The dealer might know a lot about guitars but might have a very limited selection of drums. When you find a store that seems to have everything that you need, be sure to write down their contact info in case you want to order something from them in the future. Ask them if they any sales in the near future. Getting equipment on sale can help you save a lot of money getting the sound you want.
